As part of World Climate Day on May 15th, a comprehensive environmental cleanup and waste collection event was held in collaboration with Meram Municipality and our Faculty's Department of Chemistry Education, aiming to raise environmental awareness, promote a sustainable living culture, and create social awareness in the fight against climate change. The event, which saw strong participation from academics, our faculty students, and municipality personnel, stood out as an exemplary organization in terms of environmental sensitivity. During the event, held in Gödene Neighborhood, our faculty students, together with the Meram Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate teams, carried out environmental cleanup and waste collection activities.

**GÖDENE ZERO WASTE POINT VISITED**
As part of the event, students and participants visited the Meram Municipality Gödene Zero Waste Point and received detailed information about the municipality's work in the field of environment and recycling. The visit included information on zero waste practices, recycling processes, and projects aimed at spreading environmental awareness.
