Graduate Student Safiullah's Presentation on Minority Rights in the Ottoman Empire

Safiullah, a graduate student, prepared a presentation on the historical development of minority rights in the Ottoman Empire and their importance today. In his presentation, he analyzed the changes in the status of minorities from the Tanzimat Edict to the Treaty of Lausanne.

In his presentation, Safiullah compared the status of different minority groups in the Ottoman Empire, enabling the audience to better understand the topic. Using historical documents and current research, he emphasized that minority rights in the Ottoman Empire was a complex and multifaceted issue.

At the end of the presentation, Safiullah assessed how minority rights in the Ottoman Empire contributed to the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and the minority policies of today. The audience was very impressed by the presentation and had the opportunity to ask Safiullah questions and discuss the topic in more depth.
