Adolescence is an important period in which growth and development is the fastest and covers the transition from childhood to adulthood. Physical changes in this period also change the nutritional requirements of the body. Energy, protein, vitamin and mineral requirements increase and appetite also increases. Eating habits and food choices also change during this period. Lifelong eating habits are established during adolescence. Osteoporosis, obesity, hyperlipidaemia, delayed sexual development, cardiovascular diseases and cancer are important problems in the following years as a result of malnutrition or poor eating habits during adolescence. When evaluating adolescent nutrition, the amounts that should be taken daily under normal conditions should be known. Therefore, the daily diet and its content are important and it is important for young people to have information on this subject. In this context, high school students were trained with a joint planning with the district directorate of national education.
