Our faculty member of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda Güneş, held the “Healthy Nutrition and Functional Foods” talk organized within the scope of TÜBİTAK science talks with the students of Konya İstanbul Gazi Mustafa Kemal Tourism Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. After informing about the importance of nutrition, its effects on health, and food additives; functional foods and their areas of use, and preparing the right product in the kitchen were discussed. The event, which was organized to raise awareness on this issue and to reduce economic losses in the cooking and consumption of valuable functional products in our kitchen, aimed to increase efficiency.
