It is both meaningful and exciting to make a speech under this title in our Akşehir. Because we are in the army headquarters of the Western Front where we fought the last war of independence in Akşehir. After the victory in the Battle of Sakarya, the Western Front Headquarters in Alagöz Village was moved to Akşehir after the enemy took up positions east of the Afyon-Eskişehir line. On 18 November 1921, the Headquarters arrived in Akşehir and settled in the Municipality building.
