"International Conference on Modern Education Studies" was organized by Necmettin Erbakan University, Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education within the scope of the Erasmus Project called "Don't Drop Me Outside" in order to explore modern studies in education and strategies to prevent school dropout. The conference, which took place on 25-26 June 2022 at Konya Dedeman Hotel with the theme of "School Dropout", created a platform to discuss current problems, strategies and innovations in this field.

School dropout means that students leave school without receiving a diploma for various reasons and can be seen at all levels of education and at all ages. The negative consequences of school dropout on students, families and society make it imperative to reduce the dropout rate. Therefore, many countries are trying to produce policies to solve this problem.

The conference provided a platform for the issues discussed under the title of "School Dropout" to contribute to the solutions, and provided the opportunity to question, discuss and present the relevant ideas in the light of science.

This event was organized by Necmettin Erbakan University in direct connection to the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality). The conference aimed to contribute to the promotion of a more inclusive and equitable approach in education by examining strategies for reducing school dropout and new trends in education from a broad perspective in the context of gender equality and poverty fighting. For educators, policymakers, and researchers, this conference has offered valuable insights and strategies on preventing school dropout and improving quality in education.
