Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Aydın, a faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department, participated in the IV. Agriculture and Forestry Council organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on January 30-31, 2025. The council aimed to address key issues such as the protection and sustainable use of soil, water resources, and biodiversity by considering climate change. Through working groups formed under 16 topics, the discussions focused on regulating agricultural markets, enhancing Turkey's competitiveness, and strengthening its influential position in global agriculture, with particular attention to agriculture-based industries and logistics.
