Scientific data prepared by Kohei TOMITA and Kiyonobu SAKO, officials from the Japan Urban Renaissance Institution, who are carrying out studies on post-disaster structuring in Kahramanmaraş province, about Japan's post-disaster urbanization experiences, were shared with our students by the relevant authorities. A workshop was held with the participation of our students, academics and officials from the Konya Chamber of City Planners.

Within the scope of the program, Japanese experiences from the urban planning perspective were discussed with the students regarding the prevention of natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and landslides, and redevelopment after these disasters.
