The Kapsül NEÜ Bozdoğan Rocket Team of Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Engineering participated in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), held in Antalya, Türkiye, on October 5–9, 2026. During the congress, the team exhibited its rocket previously entered in the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) in the United States, presenting its engineering achievements to international participants from 111 countries. The team's exhibition stand welcomed prominent representatives of Türkiye's technology and aerospace sectors, including Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci, TÜBİTAK UZAY President M. Mehmet Nefes, and TÜBİTAK SAGE President Kemal Topalömer. The rocket, developed through extensive teamwork involving avionics systems, structural design, and engineering applications, attracted attention from visitors and industry representatives. The participation provided students with opportunities to showcase their technical competencies, exchange knowledge with international aerospace professionals, and strengthen their professional networks. Supported by the T3 Foundation, the initiative contributed to experiential engineering education, technological innovation, career development, and international cooperation in aerospace and rocket technologies.
