In order to prevent the urinary incontinence problem that may be encountered in patients with long-term urethral catheters, kegel exercise training and training showing the effect of exercise on the muscles were given to patients who were planned to have the urinary catheter removed. In these trainings, training material showing the condition of the muscles before and after exercise was used. The educational material was developed by our students. In this way, our students tried to acquire the professional skills of nursing by doing and experiencing.
