Officially known as the Economy, Investment and Turkish Goods Week, or shortly as the Local Goods Week, it was declared in order to prevent the flow of money to foreign countries and to create social attitude awareness after the economic downturn that occurred after World War I. In this meaningful week, fresh fruits and nuts consisting of local products were served to our students and academicians in the Local Goods Week event organized by our 1st year students of the Food Processing Department Flour and Bakery Technology Program.
