World Zero Waste Day, which is celebrated every year on March 30th, an informative poster was prepared to raise awareness on waste management at the global level. World Zero Waste Day emphasizes the importance of the waste problem and encourages taking steps to solve it. The amount of waste generated as a result of increasing population and consumption habits causes serious problems such as environmental pollution, waste of resources and damage to ecosystems. Zero waste is an approach that involves minimizing the generation of waste and utilizing waste through methods such as recycling, reuse and composting. This approach increases recycling rates by encouraging waste separation at source, contributes to the protection of natural resources and reduces environmental pollution. Any effort in this context is important for the well-being of our planet and future generations. The posters prepared to draw attention to this issue were hung on recycling bins and social areas in Meram Vocational School.
