Our faculty's Department of Mathematics Education faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yavuz and students of the Department of Mathematics Education participated in the Mathematics Festival held at the Konya Science Center on October 19-20. Aiming to increase awareness about mathematics and provide an entertaining learning environment, this festival aimed to make both young participants and their families love mathematics by organizing interactive workshops. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yavuz and her students have taken an important step in reaching a wider audience by taking mathematics education beyond theoretical knowledge, and have once again demonstrated the importance of teaching mathematical thinking skills from a young age. The interactive workshops at the festival also provided a great opportunity for students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
