Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğra Yıldırım, a faculty member of the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences, Manisa Celal Bayar University, participated as a speaker in our event on "Medical Social Work and Psychosocial Dimension in Chronic Diseases" for the students of NEU Nezahat Keleşoğlu Health Sciences Social Work Department. The speaker touched upon the medical social work activities offered in health institutions and hospitals, the importance of the subject, and the contributions of medical social work in the psychosocial impact of the disease in individuals with chronic diseases. The opening speech was made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Tekin. The event was held in the Eyüp Kalaycı Hall of our faculty. Students and academicians of the Department of Social Work and other faculty members of our Faculty also showed great interest in the program. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğra Yıldırım was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation.
