Traditional DESMÜD "Mill and Sector Machinery Manufacturers Association" General Consultation Meeting was held in Konya. The meeting was held on Saturday, June 29, between 10:00-13:00 at Grand Millennium Hotel under the management of Zeki DEMİRTAŞOĞLU, President of the Association. The agenda items of the association were discussed at the meeting. Plans were made about the activities and organizations to be held until the end of 2024.
President Zeki DEMİRTAŞOĞLU touched on the subject of Education and continued as follows; "Our sector, which is the export leader in the world in terms of Milling Machinery; In a way befitting its leadership, the first signatures have been signed regarding the land to be allocated by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has started to work to build the course center in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, which will provide training in Turkish and English, which will be unique in terms of its size and activities in the world. As a joint service project, a very advanced training facility worthy of the Milling Sector, with the most modern, most advanced, state-of-the-art technologies, which will host production lines from raw materials to semi-finished and finished goods, R&D laboratories, training classrooms, guesthouse and dining hall will be built in Ankara."
After the general information of President Zeki DEMİRTAŞOĞLU about the opening of the "Milling Science and Technologies" department in Turkey, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lokman GEMİ was asked about his experiences. Our teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lokman GEMİ, who is the Education Commission Member of the Association, shared his sectoral and academic experiences about the Milling School and Miller Training. At the end of the meeting, the agenda items of the next meeting were determined and the meeting was concluded with a souvenir photo.
