An exhibition consisting of students' typography works was organised under the direction of Erdinç Çakır, lecturer of our School of Design Department. Graphic design and typography are important disciplines that increase the power of communication and enrich the visual world. Typography is an art and science that deals with the design, arrangement and printing of typefaces. Typography works by using different typefaces, points, line spacing and page layouts to increase the readability and visual aesthetics of texts. Typography also enables texts to be presented effectively as a means of communication. For this reason, it plays an important role in many fields such as advertising, graphic design, web design and printed media.
