Meram Vocational School Hotel Restaurant and Catering Services Department Cookery Program students, under the guidance of Lecturer Cemil Uslu, had the opportunity to get to know Mevlevi cuisine, an important part of our cultural heritage, closely. Within the scope of the technical trip, the students visited the "Sultan Somatı Mevlevi" restaurant and had the chance to observe the preparation and cooking techniques of traditional Mevlevi dishes, which are almost forgotten, with the presentation of the owner. This event provided students with the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain in-depth knowledge in the field of gastronomy. It also inspired them to explore the reflections of Mevlevi culture in culinary arts and to pass on this rich heritage to future generations.
