Necmettin Erbakan University Press (NEU PRESS) took part in the 76th Frankfurt Book Fair (76th Frankfurter Buchmesse), the world's largest book fair, where approximately 4 thousand publishers from more than 100 countries were represented. At the fair, important international cooperation agreements were signed on behalf of NEU PRESS.
The international fair, which is held in Frankfurt, Germany, has been hosting publishing houses by preserving its tradition until today. NEU PRESS, which has been involved in this event since the 2022 Frankfurt Book Fair, took its place at the fair this year as one of the publishing houses representing Turkey with its international collaborations, vision and mission. NEU PRESS represented our University in the international arena with innovative and qualified works in academic publishing.
NEU Publications Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Kaleci and NEU Publications Deputy Director Muammer Köroğlu participated in the fair. At the fair, a gift was presented on behalf of the publishing house to Nagihan İlknur Akdevelioğlu, Consul General of Turkey in Frankfurt, who visited the NEU Publications stand.
Noting that international collaborations were made at the fair and NEU PRESS opened to the American continent, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Kaleci said. Mr. Kaleci said, “Important cooperation agreements were made between NEUPRESS and Colombia University Press and University of Illinois Press.We would like to thank the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, its officials and all the employees of the ministry for providing such an important opportunity for NEU PRESS to participate in the fair and for the entire organization, and the Turkish Press and Publishers Professional Association for supporting our publishing house. In addition, we would like to express our gratitude to our university administrators, especially our Rector Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu, who provided all kinds of support to our publishing house, and to our authors who contributed.”
