NEU PRESS Received Great Interest at the 10th Konya Science Festival

The 10th Konya Science Festival, organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, was held with wide participation at the Konya Science Center. Our university participated in the festival with NEÜ Press, Scientific Publications Coordination Office, Big Data Coordination Office, Career Center Coordination Office, and TEKNOFEST teams, meeting with science and technology enthusiasts.
At the booths opened within the scope of the festival, our university's academic units and student communities introduced their projects and provided information about the scientific and technological activities at our university to the participants.
NEU Press and Scientific Publications Coordination Office received great interest, especially from young people interested in publishing and prospective academics, at their booth where they introduced their activities related to scientific publication processes. Participants were informed about the basic stages of academic publishing, journal and book publication processes, and scientific communication. Various gifts were also distributed through drawings held with a "gift wheel" organized to increase visitors' interest.
This year's Konya Science Festival, which aims to bring science and technology to participants of all ages, featured more than 200 events, workshops, competitions, shows, and simulators. The festival, which offered interactive experiences in many fields such as astronomy, biology, physics, engineering, design, and technology, also showcased domestic and national technology products from leading organizations like TÜBİTAK, TAI, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, and BAYKAR.
Throughout the festival, visitors experienced unforgettable moments with stage shows, light shows, and drone demonstrations. Our university's booths received particular interest from young visitors.
