Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Guidance organized an online interview titled "New Trends in Tourist Guiding Profession after the Pandemic" on Monday, February 22, 2021, within the scope of "21 February World Guides Day". It was moderated by Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Tourism, Head of Tourism Guidance Department Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Zeki Apalı, Member of the Board of Directors of the Antalya Chamber of Guides and Tourist Guide, participated as a speaker to Özgür Özer's interview. After the opening speech, the crisis environment caused by the Covid-19 epidemic and its effects on the tourism sector were discussed. In addition, the importance of tourist guiding, how the profession should be in terms of quality and quantity, tourist guiding in the crisis period and the new normal period, the future of the profession and innovative practices were emphasized.
