In the Oncology Training Unit, under the guidance of the training nurse and the instructor, our nursing student trained a patient receiving cancer treatment with the educational material he developed about nutrition and the issues to be taken into consideration. In this way, the patient was made aware of the nutrition and foods to avoid during the cancer treatment process, and awareness was tried to be raised. In addition, our student had experience by doing patient education.
