Our University Faculty of Nursing, Department of Mental Health and Diseases Nursing, Beyhekim Education and Research Hospital Psychiatry Clinic, Beyhekim Education and Research Hospital Community Mental Health Center, and Konya Mental Health and Diseases Association attended the event held in the hospital hall on 10.10.2024, which is World Mental Health Day.
In the first stage of the event, patients, physicians, nurses, academicians, and students walked together. The walk emphasized that social awareness should be created about mental illnesses, stigmatization towards individuals with mental illnesses should be combated and mental health is a universal human right. The second stage of the event started with the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Private Youth Band show in the event hall. The program continued with the rhythm show of the Community Mental Health Center clients and the rhythm show of our nursing students.
In the event, competitions, music, letters to the future and painting were held in different areas. The event ended with musical entertainment.
