As part of October 15th World Anatomy Day, a sapling planting event themed “Immortal soldiers of education are growing again in the soil” was held in order to express our respect and gratitude to the cadavers that are in the Anatomy laboratories of the medical faculties in our province and that have made significant contributions to anatomy education. Necmettin Erbakan University, Selçuk University and KTO Karatay University Faculties of Medicine Anatomy faculty members, faculty secretaries, research assistants, administrative staff and first-year students who have just started medical education attended the event. Prof. Dr. Nadire Ünver Doğan, Vice President of the Turkish Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy Association, stated that the awareness of the students who participated in this event was increased in the first days of their medical education and thanked Prof. Dr. İsmihan İlknur Uysal, Head of the Anatomy Department of NEÜ Faculty of Medicine, on behalf of the association for the organization organized as part of “World Anatomy Day”. The event, in which 600 saplings were planted on the Necmettin Erbakan University campus area, was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. It ended with Uysal thanking the participants.
