Law has always existed to ensure the relations between people living together. In order to learn the history of Turkish law and to have information about how it has developed, it is necessary to have knowledge about Ottoman law texts. In this context, a program in the field of Ottoman legal texts has been organized for one semester in order for the students of our faculty to learn this field. Within the scope of this program, our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akman, who has knowledge in the field of Ottoman legal texts, makes a presentation. This week, Articles 28, 29 and 30 of Ali Haydar Efendi's Mecelle Sharh were read and analyzed. Within the scope of this program, it is aimed that law faculty students can read about Ottoman law texts and have knowledge about our legal history.
