Law has always existed to ensure people's coexistence and relations between them. In order to learn the history of Turkish law and how it developed, it is necessary to have knowledge of Ottoman legal texts. In this context, a semester-long program has been organized in the field of Ottoman law texts for the willing students of our faculty to learn this field. Within the scope of this program, our faculty member Assoc. Prof., who is knowledgeable in the field of Ottoman legal texts. Dr. Ahmet Akman is making a presentation. As the subject of the ninth week, articles 10 to 15 of Ali Haydar Efendi's Mecelle Commentary were read. Within the scope of this program, it is aimed for law faculty students to be able to read Ottoman legal texts and to have information about our legal history.
