Our Faculty Receives TÜBİTAK 3501 Project Support Success
The project titled "Investigation of the Effects of Intracerebroventricular Alamandine Infusion on the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular Axis in Male Rats," led by Dr. Furkan Yüksel, a faculty member in our Department of Physiology and our Vice Dean, has been awarded support under the TÜBİTAK 3501 program. Dr. Lecturer stated that the project aims to provide new strategies and perspectives for reducing male-related infertility, also known as infertility. Member Furkan Yüksel said, “In our project, we aim to examine the effects of alamadine, a substance present in the living body, on reproductive physiology by injecting it into the relevant area of ​​the brain tissue using a special experimental method. Molecular, biochemical, and histological parameters will be evaluated. We believe that the results will make significant contributions to the literature. The project, which will be carried out by an expert and experienced team in the field, includes Prof. Dr. Suat Tekin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Tekin, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azibe Yıldız from İnönü University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Erden from Bartın University.” We congratulate our professor and the project team and wish them continued success.
