Turkey's first national and international Social Sciences Festival (SosyalFest), organized to contribute to the formation of Turkey's national social sciences move, was held at Karabük University.

Cemile Nur Çelen and Ceylan Öksün, students of the Department of Management Information Systems of our University, who participated in the competition in the Ecological Life Category under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kocaoğlu, Faculty of Applied Sciences Management Information Systems Faculty Member on behalf of our University, came third with their "Ekoİz - Leave a Trace to the Environment and the Future Project".
