"Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bengü TÜRKOĞLU, a faculty member from the Department of Basic Education at our faculty, participated in the 'What's Happening' program on KONTV and delivered a talk on Parenting in the Digital World." Parenting in the digital world is a process that has changed the way parents interact with their children and the way they raise them, along with the rapid development of technology and the internet. In this new environment, parents are responsible for managing their children’s access to digital content, ensuring their online safety, and developing their digital literacy. Parents should also try to strike a balance by considering the impact of social media and digital games on children’s social development. This process is an important challenge in terms of communicating, instilling values, and introducing children to the digital world in a healthy way.
