In order to create awareness of nature, the pine cone painting activity with children was ensured to be clean and dry. Painting materials such as crayons or acrylic paints, brushes, water glasses and a plate were provided. It was suggested that they paint slowly to preserve the natural texture of the pine cone. Children were told about nature, how pine cones grow on trees and how seeds are dispersed. Such activities can help children develop their artistic talents as well as create awareness about the natural world. In addition, an environmentally friendly activity was organized using natural materials. In this context, a pine cone painting activity was organized with children by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süleyman DOĞU and Asst. Prof. Dr. Turan AKDAĞ, faculty members of the Department of Plant and Animal Production, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program, to create awareness and create awareness of nature.
