Our Vocational School's Physical Therapy Program second-year students conducted a “Posture and Posture Training” session for middle school students in Seydişehir. The event aimed to instill proper posture habits in young individuals and prevent musculoskeletal disorders that may arise in later years.

It was emphasized that remaining in the same position for long periods during adolescence and growth, as well as incorrect sitting or standing habits, can have negative effects on spinal health. In this context, our students, under the guidance of our academics, provided middle school students with practical information on correct posture techniques, ergonomic rules to be observed while working at a desk, and the importance of regular exercise.

Throughout the training, students used interactive presentations and posture demonstrations to help middle school students better understand the topic. At the end of the program, various recommendations were made to increase body awareness and develop healthy posture habits in young people's daily lives.

This meaningful event has enabled our Physical Therapy Program students to strengthen their professional knowledge and communication skills while also contributing to public health.
