Nurses are at the forefront of the healthcare system and undertake the task of protecting and improving the health of individuals and society. Climate change has many negative effects on public health. The main ones are; These can be counted as an increase in the rates of infectious diseases, an increase in the frequency of natural disasters, an increase in the incidence of chronic diseases, and an increase in mental health problems such as stress and anxiety. Equipping nurse students on health issues related to climate change will increase the quality and effectiveness of future healthcare services.
