On 20.12.2024, "Recycling" education was carried out with our 2nd-grade students under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Aliye ÇAYIR and Res. Asst. Dr. Muradiye Aldem Budak for the students of Piri Reis Primary School in Selçuklu District of Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education. In the education, topics such as What is Recycling?, What is its importance in terms of the environment?, How are wastes recycled, and the studies carried out for waste management in our city were discussed and a drama show was performed on the subject. Our students designed a small game explaining which boxes recyclable materials should be thrown in and carried out a game-based education. During the education process, our nursing students experienced an education to develop their educator roles by using educational methods such as question-answer, demonstration, and demonstration. In addition, the education tried to help middle school students to be informed about Recycling and to take action.
