This month, the subject of "Sadreddin Konevi as an Interpreter" was discussed at the Sadreddin Konevi Conferences organized in cooperation with our University's Seljuk Culture and Civilization Application and Research Center and Konya Foundations Regional Directorate. This month's guest of the conference series held at the sahibi Ata Foundation Museum is our University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Theology Faculty Member Prof. Dr. It was Ali Akpınar. Stating that Sadreddin Konevi's commentary on Surah Fatiha is an indicative commentary, Prof. Dr. Akpınar said, “There are tafsir schools in the field of tafsir, and we diversify tafsir according to tafsir schools. Narrative and sagacity interpretations since the first period, judgment interpretations in later periods, and scientific interpretation in the light of scientific data in recent periods... One of these types is ishari interpretation and comes from the Turkish word sign. Literally, it means finding out and discovering the meanings indicated by the words. Conceptually, it has acquired a very different meaning. Ishari tafsir is a type of tafsir written from the early period, especially from the book period. "When we look at the scholars who wrote ishari tafsir, we see that they are exoteric scholars and that they put forward these ishari tafsir," he said. Talking about Konevi's will, Prof. Dr. Ali Akpınar said, “In his will, Konevi states that what he says can be understood by experts in the field and that there are very special inner meanings, and he wants his addressee to make an effort to understand them and encourages them to understand. According to him, people should be ready to understand. 'If you are ready to understand, what you will understand will be given to you,' says Konevi. Just listening physically or listening serenely is not enough. "There is worship involved... Hearts and the inner world need to be polished and polished through worship, dhikr and contemplation," he said. “We think that Konevi wrote the information that came to him through inspiration” Underlining an important feature of Konevi, Akpınar said, “Konevi does not make transfers and transfers while writing the commentary of Surah Fatiha. We see that Konevi's sentences and ideas are very special and original. It is also important to convey information reliably, but Konevi reveals deep meanings. Therefore, we think, 'What he said consists of information that came to him through inspiration, not through quotation and transfer.'" he said. The program was attended by Konya Foundations Regional Deputy Director Hilal Aydemir, Prof. Dr. It ended with the presentation of a plaque to Ali Akpınar and taking a souvenir photo.
