Students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Urban and Regional Planning, under the management of our university academic staff Çiğdem ÇİFTÇİ and Musa Kazım ARGUN, organized a technical trip to the provinces of the TR-71 region of Turkey at the NUTS2 level.

As part of this trip, students and academic staff visited the special environmental protection legal boundaries covering the Salt Lake and the lake surroundings located on the border of Akşehir and Konya cities. The team examined the impact of the special environmental protection status on regional plans and the potentials of the area for the region.
