Saplings were planted in Ereğli Campus within the scope of sapling planting activities held simultaneously in 81 provinces on the occasion of National Afforestation Day, which is celebrated on 11 November every year to raise environmental awareness and for a greener Turkey.

With the participation of Ereğli District Governor Oğuz Cem MURAT, Necmettin Erbakan University Rector Prof. Dr. Cem ZORLU, district protocol, academic and administrative staff and students, a sapling planting event was held in the garden of Necmettin Erbakan University Ereğli Campus Faculty of Education on the occasion of November 11 National Afforestation Day.

With the slogan ‘Breath for the Future Breath for Humanity’, we planted our saplings together for a green homeland.
