On 23.07.2024, Çiğdem Çiftçi and Musa Kâzım Argun from the City and Regional Planning Department of our university made a technical trip to the excavation site in the Savatra Ancient City organized by Konya Karatay Municipality, with the participation of officials from Mevlana Development Agency, Selçuk University and Necmettin Erbakan University.
During the trip, information was obtained about the excavations being carried out and the future projection of the project was evaluated. Consultancy services were provided to Karatay Municipality regarding the restoration of the ancient city as a touristic value to the city.
