Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kemal ÇETİN from our Department of Biomedical Engineering attended the "Skin Models as Test Systems for Toxicology and Wound Healing" workshop held in Würzburg, Germany, from November 11-13, 2024, under the Horizon Europe program, as part of the European Union project REGENEU. During the workshop, practical laboratory trainings were conducted on topics such as Skin Models and Applications, Wound Creation in Epidermal Models, Cell Isolation from Skin Biopsies, and Wound Healing Monitoring using Impedance Spectroscopy. The workshop provided knowledge and experience in laboratory skin modeling as an alternative to animal testing in Biomedical Engineering.
