Our students have developed a smart energy management system aimed at increasing the efficiency of solar panels. The system automatically adjusts the orientation of the panels by tracking the sun's position throughout the day and ensures the optimal angle and performance through real-time data analysis. Energy production is continuously monitored and optimized thanks to sensor-based feedback mechanisms. In addition to automatic control, users have access to a web-based interface where they can monitor energy production data and the system's instantaneous performance, as well as make manual adjustments. This work contributes to energy savings by supporting the efficient use of renewable energy sources, increasing environmental responsibility and sustainability awareness. Furthermore, it directly contributes to SDG 7: “Affordable and Clean Energy” through smart energy management approaches.
