The talk, planned as a health management department event, was held in our faculty's Eyüp Kalaycı Hall. Our students Beyza Özdemir, Derya Uçar, Firdevs Acar, Ömer Musa Uyar, Rukiye Demirci and Şüheda Özbey were guests of the program organized by Department of Health Management Assistant Professor Doctor Lütfiye Tekpınar and Assistant Professor Doctor Aysun Yeşiltaş. After a short opening speech, the students briefly introduced themselves and stated their application units. In the event attended by department students and academics, 4th grade students shared their experiences regarding vocational education. Students stated that they had the opportunity to use the knowledge they gained from theoretical education in their vocational training in business. It was mentioned that the application was carried out in hospital units on a four-week rotation, and the transactions carried out in units such as purchasing, human resources, and patient registration were mentioned. In the program, students shared their experiences with case studies, in which their views on the provision of vocational training in business in the private sector were taken. Students who participated in the National Internship Program also shared their experiences there, in the program where the information learned in the units and the communications established with hospital employees were conveyed. Academicians from the department who participated in the program also contributed to the conversation, where student participation was intense.
