The products resulting from the Advanced Recycling Workshop conducted as part of the Ecological Architecture course were presented in a special exhibition reflecting the students' original designs and environmental awareness. The exhibition aimed to enable architecture students to transform waste materials generated during the project production process into design by reprocessing them, thereby gaining practical experience in sustainable design.
The event featured objects, furniture prototypes, and architectural models produced by creatively reusing waste materials such as cardboard, wood, metal, fabric, and plastic. This allowed students to integrate the concepts of reuse and recycling into the design process, giving them the opportunity to experience the relationship between resource efficiency, environmental responsibility, and aesthetic value.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness of sustainability, demonstrate that waste can be creatively reevaluated, and instill an ecological design approach in the architects of the future. Through the exhibited products, participants had the opportunity to observe once again that architecture is not only an aesthetic field of production but also a discipline that is environmentally conscious and creates social awareness.
