SDG Clean Water and Sanitation

All wastewater installations in the institution are checked, and necessary studies are carried out when defective and leaky areas are detected.
Activities related to water conservation

* Faucet nozzles are checked.
* Nozzles that deteriorate and make laminar flow are replaced with new ones to make turquoise flow and add volume to the flow.
* The flow rate is reduced by turning the plumbing end valves to the semi-low position.
* Where necessary, open and close faucets are replaced with photocell faucets.
* The working hours of garden irrigation fixtures are set to the hours when evaporation is minimal.
* In routine cleaning to be done in our stock water tanks, the stock water is reduced and the necessary cleaning is done after the existing water is finished. Clean water is not discharged unnecessarily.

Precautions for sewage disposal

* Periodically, leak checks are carried out in the sewage lines throughout the faculty.
* The sewage discharged from the clinic and its sinks is filtered in our amalgam sewers and given to the city sewer.
* Sewage manholes are cleaned at regular intervals.
