A technical field trip to digital printing types was held with the 2nd grade students of the graphic design program within the scope of the Printing techniques course. We found answers to the questions of how many prints can be made on which products and in how long in a digital printing environment. We observed the printing machines and their preparation on site. Since industrial printing techniques are explained theoretically, we raise awareness among students by visiting printing companies in the market to ensure that they are understandable and permanent. By giving them the chance to better understand the field and the market, we strengthen their ability to decide on the type of printing they may prefer.
