With the development of technology, the use of technological devices and the time people spend with these devices are increasing. Especially the increase in the use of the internet and social media creates a pathological condition called technology addiction in individuals. Technology addiction can cause social problems as well as problems in individuals.

Tayip Bayrak, one of our students in the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program at our Vocational School, gave a presentation on “Technology Addiction and Its Effects.”

In the presentation, the causes of technology addiction, the situations we encounter in the addiction process, the individual and social consequences of addiction were mentioned.
