In order to treat diseases, diagnosis must first be made. At the same time, information is sometimes needed regarding the treatment and progression of these diseases. The procedures applied to obtain all this data are called pathology. Pathology is a guiding science for the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases, from diseases such as cancer to anemia. Our Medical Laboratory 2nd year students were trained in the field of pathology by performing the basic application of tissue tracking procedures on sheep liver and kidney tissue.
