At the conference organized at our faculty, Yaman Koç, Commercial Information and Intelligence Consultant, explained the benefits of hyper competition and competitive intelligence in foreign trade. Koç emphasized that businesses should invest in competitive intelligence in order to survive in international markets where competition is intense.

At the conference, where the effects of the information revolution and big data on foreign trade were also discussed, Koç stated that the effective use of data is decisive in export strategies and that foreign trade intelligence officers must be data experts.

Drawing attention to the role of foreign trade intelligence in line with Turkey's export target of 500 billion dollars, Yaman Koç emphasized the need for qualified and well-trained experts to achieve the target. Stating that universities should train experts in foreign trade and data analysis, Koç emphasized the importance of adding courses on these subjects to their curricula.

At the end of the conference, our faculty dean Prof. Dr. Uğur ADIGÜZEL presented a china plate to our guest Yaman KOÇ.
