The second Konya Children's Environment Workshop on "Zero Waste," organized in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of National Education, Konya Environment, Urbanism and Climate Change Provincial Directorate, Meram Municipality, and the Sustainable Environment Association, took place at the Tantavi Culture and Art Center on November 21, 2023. The workshop aimed to cultivate and enhance awareness of nature, the environment, recycling, and reuse among children. Distinguished figures such as Prof. Dr. Şerife Yurdagül Kumcu, the Director of the Institute of Science at Necmettin Erbakan University, and various representatives from local authorities and educational institutions, including Konya Metropolitan Municipality and the Provincial Directorate of National Education, actively participated in the event. The workshop served as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, fostering a deeper understanding of zero waste principles and their practical implementation in various contexts.
