Patients who receive treatment in the hospital, are unable to perform self-care, and are homeless cannot be discharged at the planned time. As a result, problems such as bed occupation, the patient stays longer in the hospital environment and additional costs arise. Awareness should be raised and solutions should be produced to accelerate the referral of these patients to the necessary institutions and organizations. For this purpose, the data of patients who applied to NEU Faculty of Medicine Hospital in 2019-2020 and met our criteria were obtained from the Social Services Department and Billing Department of NEU Faculty of Medicine Hospital. These data were analyzed and an article was written and a presentation was prepared to raise awareness.
