Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zehra Atbaşı from the Department of Special Education, Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education, Necmettin Erbakan University, we conducted the theoretical training sessions of the School Period Skills Workshop. Within the scope of the workshop, topics such as teaching daily living skills at home for school-age children, skill selection and analysis, adjustments that can be applied in the home environment, and practical tips were presented. Additionally, techniques aimed at improving the skills of individuals with Down syndrome during the school period were discussed. As the DOSD Meram family, we would like to thank the parents who participated and our esteemed instructor for their contributions.
