Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease that occurs when a protein called gluten cannot be digested in the intestines. Nutritionists and dietitians can assist patients in selecting, preparing and consuming gluten-free foods. In this context, Dietician Betül TEMEL, our student from the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program, attended the seminar as a speaker, moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Turan AKDAĞ, and information was given on the points to be considered in Celiac disease nutrition.
