Within the scope of the Public Health Nursing course, a Technical Trip was organized to Torku on 15-16 November 2023, so that our 4th grade students could closely examine "Occupational Health and Safety" issues in practice. Students met with workplace nurses and received information about common workplace accidents, occupational diseases, control of health risks, workplace health records, and the roles of workplace nurses. In addition, students toured the factory and observed the production stages of meat and meat products, and milk and dairy products along the tour corridor of the factory. Students had the opportunity to find answers to their questions about food health. We would like to thank the faculty members of the Department of Public Health Nursing, our rectorate, and Torku for providing these opportunities to our students, who contributed to the organization of the trip.
